**Job Title: Maintenance Technician in Colorado Springs, CO** ***** This position is based in Colorado Springs. Every Monday, technicians must drive to Aurora for a safety meeting and parts collection, reporting at 8am and typically leaving by 1:30pm-2pm with paid travel time back to Colorado Springs. 90% of the work will be at the FedEx in Colorado Springs, with the remaining 10% in Pueblo.* **Job Description** + Maintenance company specializing in servicing conveyor equipment within distribution facilities for clients such as FedEx and UPS in Colorado. + Maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems in satellite locations, with minimal work in larger facilities. + Preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, Troubleshooting breakdowns + Mainly mechanical work, with some hydraulic and PLC experience preferred + Working on-site with another maintenance technician at all times **SHIFT/SCHEDULE** 1st shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday - On call one week out of every month, typically called in one day during the on-call week - Overtime pay for hours worked outside of 8am-4:30pm and over 8 hours in one day - Double time pay for Sundays **PAY: $27-35 (depending on experience)** **Skills** + Preventative maintenance + Troubleshooting + Mechanical work + Hydraulic experience + PLC experience + **Must have clean MVR within the last 5 years (no DUIs, no more than 2 speeding tickets)** **Job Type** This is a **Contract-to-Hire** position with a duration of **6 Month(s).** **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position **in Colorado Springs, Colorado.** **Work Environment** Technicians work on-site at distribution facilities, primarily in Colorado Springs with occasional travel to Pueblo and Aurora.
