Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Improve and sustain maintenance reliability and low maintenance costs.
Key Responsibilities Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documented. Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques. Key roll designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods. Evaluating effectiveness of maintenance procedures and adjusting as necessary to increase the lifetime of our assets. Experiences/Education - RequiredTechnical degree in Engineering Engineering degree (preferred)
Work experience 0-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance area. Experience developing maintenance strategies. Experience handling Computerizing Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Project management Understanding and experience of Lean Manufacturing Management and control of maintenance costs Spare parts and tooling management Root cause analysis experience Competencies Problem Solving Technical Learning Managing Time Written communications Demonstrate Drive & Commitment Dealing with Ambiguity Collaboration/Teamwork Demonstrating Initiative Ethics & Values Prioritizing & Organizing Communicating Effectively
