Maintenance Technician
Are you a skilled and dedicated maintenance professional looking to make a tangible impact on residential communities? Join Associa as a Maintenance Technician and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our managed properties. We are seeking a reliable individual with a passion for ensuring a safe and well-maintained living environment for our residents.

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nRight hand person to Onsite manager.\nSubject Matter Expert in all things Maintenance.\nBring ideas and solution to Onsite manager; establish routine, preventative, maintenance schedule.\nWalk and inspect property; fix and repair where needed.\nReview and prioritize maintenance requests.\nPerform general maintenance to include HVAC, drywall, paint plaster, patch, plumbing and electrical.\nContact and coordinate with vendors and contractors onsite.\nShared on-call, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.\n\n

\n\nProactive, takes ownership and initiative to =maintain and repair property as needed.\nExcellent communication skills, follow-up, follow-through.\nCustomer service driven.\nPunctual, on-time, reliable and dependable.\nTakes pride in their work.\n\n

\n Requirements\nMust be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nMay be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.).\nAbility to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.\nAbility to operate smartphone & email (day-to-day operations, basic communication/monthly expense reports).\nMust be able to operate a vehicle from one location to another.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis.\n3 -- 5 years of directly related or closely related experience.\n\n
