**Maintenance Technician - Denison, Tx / $27-$32/hr** **Job Description** Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Including, but not limited to, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management. **Responsibilities** + Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Troubleshoot and repair production machines. + Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints. + Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. + Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. + Detect faulty operations and defective materials, and report any unusual situations to management. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude. + Ability to change out a motor (480V). + Experience working in a highly automated, production environment, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing. + Experience with conveyor systems, PLCs, automation, and Multivac machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the food and beverage industry. + Experience with Multivac machines. **Work Environment** The majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, 2nd shift: 2:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday, and 3rd shift: 10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday. The main priority is staffing the 3rd shift, which involves putting equipment back together after sanitation. New hires with less experience will start on the 3rd shift. The standard workweek includes 5 hours of built-in overtime, with one day off during the week and every other weekend off.
