\n \n Job Description

Responsibilities include, day-to day maintenance and minor repairs for the property, common areas and other facilities, including performance of community maintenance work. Work should be performed independently. General supervision is provided by the Community Manager.

** Ideal candidate: customer service minded with experience in boilers, chillers, ptaps, plumbing, 2 pipe HVAC system (heating or cooling), minor electrical, and minor dry wallrepair**

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nProvide in-unit maintenance work and general maintenance in the common areas\nComplete maintenance work as directed by the Chief Engineer\nManage all work orders assigned to them\nPerform maintenance work; enter and update completed work in the Building Link system\nProvide a high degree of customer service to homeowners, visitors, and coworkers\nCommunicate and follow-up with the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor the progress of work completed\nComplete maintenance work on time, correctly and efficiently\nCommunicate any issues to the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor\nDaily maintenance and custodial tasks performed year-round, seasonal, and on an as-needed basis. Prioritize and complete Checklists and Work Orders in a timely manner. Perform seasonal duties and winterize property as directed.\nAssist with property inspections. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on maintenance projects throughout the property.\nMaintain the Office Building area, keeping the maintenance shop/office areas organized and cleaned and properly care for all tools and equipment.\nCandidate must be able to read, write and speak in English\n\n

Pay rate: $25-$30 an hour.

\n Requirements\nHigh School graduate or equivalent.\nAbility to read, write and speak in English is required\nAbility to prioritize daily assignments and work order requests.Ability to exercise sound judgment in emergency situations.\nAbility to work tactfully and respectfully with co-workers, homeowners and with general public.\nSoftware savvy; well versed in working though a ticketing system.\n\n
