**Maintenance Technician** **Pay Rate: $24-26 (pay is based on interview and experience)** **Riviera Beach, FL** **Job Overview** We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for our Riviera Beach location, responsible for manufacturing mattresses. Recently, the facility has upgraded its processes with new machines and robotics to enhance efficiency. We have openings for the 2nd shift. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. + Troubleshoot and diagnose frequent and complex problems with machinery. + Provide technical support to Manufacturing Technicians, Value Stream Leaders, and Engineers. + Use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to conduct testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems. + Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures. + Perform detailed mathematical calculations. + Complete assignments efficiently while adhering to safety precautions and company policies. **Qualifications** + 2+ years of maintenance experience. + Experience with preventive maintenance, mechanical work, and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing setting. + Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair tasks. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform electrical troubleshooting. + High school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree or technical certifications are preferred. + Two or more years of relevant training in maintenance trades, specifically mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, robotics, and pneumatics. + Knowledge of spreadsheet or database software. + Previous experience with a bedding manufacturer and/or knowledge of sewing equipment is a plus. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. **Why Work Here?** This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a busy and growing company. Another plant closure has increased our volume, providing stability and growth potential. Although the initial contract is for 3-4 months, there is a strong possibility for a permanent position based on performance and company needs. **Work Environment** The work schedule will transition as follows based on the needs: 1-2 weeks: 8am - 4:30pm, 3-4 weeks: 10am - 6:30pm, 5+ weeks: 1pm - 9pm.
