**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician **Pay Rate** : $26-31/Hour **Location** : Munster, IN **Shift** : 2nd shift available **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing all mechanical and electrical repairs for tubing mill equipment. You will also respond to repairs and breakdowns, troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gear boxes, encoders, and PLCs (AB and Siemens). In addition, you will handle troubleshooting of hydraulics, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps. You will fabricate, assemble, and test parts as needed, including various pumps, valves, heaters, compressors, fire equipment, and other mechanical system parts. You will also use CMMS to manage work orders and parts and perform other duties such as painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform all mechanical and electrical repairs for tubing mill equipment. + Respond to repairs and breakdowns. + Troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gear boxes, encoders. + Troubleshoot AB and Siemens PLCs. + Troubleshoot hydraulics. + Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps. + Fabricate, assemble, and test parts as needed. + Use CMMS to manage work orders and order parts. + Perform other duties such as painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience. + Hydraulic troubleshooting skills. + Computer knowledge, with a preference for CMMS experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for professional growth, including paying for further schooling after one year of employment.
