**Maintenance Technician** Currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Pay:** $35-$40/HR **Shift:** Training 1st shift (M-F 7am-3:30pm). Would move to an overnight rotating 2-2-3 schedule (6pm-6am). **Description:** The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, and perform both mechanical and electrical repairs. + They will also handle facilities repairs, utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs, and set up and change over machinery as needed. + Candidates will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance. + Candidates will be troubleshooting and repairing blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc. + Will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical repairs. + Will be responsible for facilities repairs when needed. + Utilizing blueprints and schematics for repairs. + Responsible for setting up and changing over machinery when needed. + AutoCat. + Writing PLCs. + Handle thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience working with up to 480V electrical systems. + Competence in Mathematics (fractions, adding/subtracting, measuring). + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. + Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs. + Ability to work with hydraulics, welding, stick welding, and fabrication. + Own tools. **Work Environment:** The manufacturing floor is organized but can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
