Description:

Perform maintenance in support of manufacturing facility on a variety of equipment throughout facility including machinery repairs, preventative maintenance, machine relocation, fabrication, welding, electrical repair and installation, plumbing (air, hydraulic, water) with use of a variety of equipment.  Responsible for monitoring hazardous waste for removal, maintenance of chemical storage area and clean up of chemical spills as required.

Responsibilities:

Provide maintenance support in all areas of manufacturing facility including but not limited to machinery repairs, preventative maintenance, machine relocation, fabrication, welding, electrical repair and installation, plumbing (air, hydraulic, water) with use of a variety of equipment such as hand tools, welding equipment, fork lifts, and precision measuring equipment.  Maintain and develop preventative maintenance program for production related equipment.  Required to perform work in compliance to all safety and EHS policies and procedures. 

Qualifications:

Knowledge of EHS procedures and policiesKnowledge and safe use of production related equipmentWorking knowledge and use of welding, electrical, and plumbing equipment including repair and maintenance of machineryUnderstanding of reading building plans and electrical schematicsAbility to use trouble-shooting and precision measuring equipmentWhere applicable, trained in maintenance processes such as but not limited to welding, plumbing, electrical and mechanical troubleshootingVocational or technical training in a maintenance related discipline, strongly preferred

Training requirements:

On the job training for up to 3 monthsDemonstrated ability to comply to maintenance safety procedures such as lock-out tags, etc.Demonstrate ability to safely complete job tasks utilizing manual equipment as well as use of gauges needed for repair fabricationDemonstrate ability to perform preventative maintenance, and repair of facilities equipmentWhere applicable, complete safety and maintenance training and or certification
