What you will be doing 

As a Maintenance Technician at our ice cream facility, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will be tasked with performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. With attention to detail and a commitment to safety, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our production lines consistently deliver high-quality ice cream products. The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ 

Main responsibilities 

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment, including mixers, freezers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.  

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and to minimize downtime.  

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues that arise during production.  

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to ensure minimal production disruptions.  

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.  

Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without affecting production schedules.  

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures while performing repairs and maintenance.  

Assist in the installation of new equipment and ensure it is operating correctly.  

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and equipment. 

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times. 

 

What we are searching for. 

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 

High School Diploma or equivalent. 

1+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing. 

1+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair. 

Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 

Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints. 

LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred. 

EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred. 

Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills. 

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments. 

Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.
