Description Maintenance Technician – Baytown, TX

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain package equipment and conveying equipment, including palletizers, FFS bag packaging equipment, stretch wrappers and stretch hooding equipment. Maintain warehouse including dock doors, painting, welding, plumbing and small concrete jobs. Rebuild any machinery that can be rebuilt for the packaging machine. Provide own common hand tools needed for daily mechanic work. Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED COMPENTENCIES:

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to supervision. Understand the operation of the FF&S packaging line. Work in conjunction with operations on daily operational mechanical related issues. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required by manufacturer. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Perform general and routine maintenance inside and outside the building. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Fix potential safety hazards to avoid incidents. Apply Now
