Maintenance Technician

Shift:  N1: Monday-Wednesday, alt Thursday 6:00pm-6:15am

As a Maintenance Technician II, you are responsible for installing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, rebuilding, and dismantling all types of complex manufacturing and support equipment. You will be involved in work of a varied nature with minimal supervision, to maintain physical assets in a condition desired by management and in compliance with industry standards and government regulations.  You are responsible for training, advising, and sometimes directing other technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose, plan, & perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, & dismantle various types of complex manufacturing & support equipment with special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, & PLCs on complex high speed packaging linesPerform preventive maintenance & other proactive activities to monitor & maintain equipment conditionCoordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, & other stakeholders to communicate & plan maintenance activitiesCoordinate with equipment/service vendors for technical assistanceMaintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areasComply with regulatory, Keurig Dr Pepper, & departmental policies, procedures, & standards (especially safety) Assist other maintenance technicians as priorities dictate, time allows, or directed. Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvement & drive recommendations to implementation or resolutionComplete or assist with special projects as directedPerform other duties as requested by management Total Rewards Pay starting at $37.00 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $38.85 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Benefits, subject to eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements (where applicable): Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including vacation and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement Requirements Completion of Industrial Maintenance degree or certificate preferred.  Formal manufacturing maintenance education and/or 5 years of related manufacturing maintenance experience. Demonstrated advanced mechanical /electrical skills (PLC troubleshooting and Robotics skills preferred).Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics. Ability to competently use and understand precision testing and diagnostic equipment.Experience using e-mail, job databases, spreadsheets, and CMMS, such as SAP.Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) experience preferred.Packaging experience is preferred.High speed automation experience preferred.Yellow / Green Belt training preferred
