**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic responsible for performing 50% Preventative and 50% Reactive mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repairs to production lines and auxiliary equipment. This includes working with robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, bag machines, blow fillers, extruders, winders, gears, bearings, align shafts, motors, switches, fuses, circuits, control circuits, relays, and more. The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, unwire/rewire switches, replace sensors, and handle 24v-480v 3-phase electrical systems. Preventative maintenance tasks include lubing, oiling, and greasing. This role is within a stable and essential industry, providing a clean and climate-controlled industrial environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production lines and auxiliary equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, bag machines, blow fillers, extruders, winders, gears, bearings, motors, switches, fuses, circuits, control circuits, and relays.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Unwire and rewire switches, replace sensors.
+ Handle electrical systems ranging from 24v-480v 3-phase.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubing, oiling, and greasing.
**Essential Skills**
+ Industrial Maintenance Experience up to 480v 3-phase.
+ Ability to unwire/rewire switches and replace sensors.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical Certifications.
+ Fabrication Experience.
+ Robotic Troubleshooting.
+ PLC Troubleshooting (edit ladder logic/change parameters).

**Work Environment**
This facility manufactures plastic bags and trash bags, serving major clients in the food industry. It is an essential business, and no layoffs occurred during the pandemic. The facility is clean, climate-controlled, and equipped with newer machines. There is minimal downtime, with a focus on preventative maintenance. This role may not suit those who prefer reactive maintenance.
