**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This role is based at a recycling plant where you will work on a large machine called a Murph machine, which handles all the sorting of materials. The position involves inspections, diagnosing issues, and issuing repairs to mechanical systems, hydraulics, grinders, shredders, and conveyor systems. Specific experience is not required as training will be provided due to the unique nature of the machine. Candidates must be open to learning and patient with the training process. **Responsibilities** + Perform service calls for plant issues and breakdowns. + Perform minor to major repairs and preventive maintenance. + Assist with some repairs and utilize blow pack to clear/clean machines of dust and debris. + Lubricate parts, change, and fill oils, and work on basic repairs. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance technician experience + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with hydraulics + Repair and preventive maintenance + Troubleshooting skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude + Previous maintenance experience of some sort + Proficiency with hand and power tools **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, 401K with a 5% match, and uniform and laundry service provided. **Work Environment** The work environment is a recycling plant with no air conditioning.
