**Maintenance Technician - Plymouth, MI** **Job Description** Multi-craft maintenance technician for a company that manufactures the industry's broadest range of steel pipe and tubing, delivering solutions for commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and government customers across the United States. Maintenance technicians will handle mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical repairs. Mechanical tasks include fixing conveyors, and building gearboxes, and spindles. Electrical duties involve troubleshooting PLCs and understanding and relaying ladder logic. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical repairs including fixing conveyors and building gearboxes and spindles. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, 480v, and 3-phase motors. + Handle hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on pumps, cylinders, and various valves. + Understand and relay ladder logic for electrical troubleshooting. + Read and interpret blueprints for maintenance tasks. + Conduct welding and fabrication tasks using MIG/Stick techniques for general repairs. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per the PM plan.. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with industrial power tools and preventive maintenance. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Ability to work safely and efficiently in a steel plant environment. **Benefits:** + Direct Hire + Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance + Weekly Pay with incentives related to production output - $1-$3 added per hour on average + Annual Pay Increases + PTO and Holiday **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
