As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the safe repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment. Duties include installation, preventive and routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machinery decommissioning. This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
What We Offer $28 - $32 per hour based on experience Third shift; Monday - Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM Overtime as required Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement Unlimited referral bonuses What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or relevant technical training preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills Preferred experience in rubber or plastic extrusion/molding and extrusion equipment Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to read metric and imperial prints, schematics, and equipment manuals Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds Positive team player with a proactive attitude in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with MIOSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures preferred Willingness to travel as needed What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician Provide hands-on support and direct contractors to complete projects efficiently Perform a range of service work, including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pipe Fitting, Carpentry, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication, Sheet Metal Working, Machining, Rigging, Erection, HVAC, and Refrigeration Take a proactive approach to safety in all tasks Assist in facility start-up and shutdown as needed Handle administrative tasks, such as ordering parts, scheduling services, purchasing, and maintaining maintenance records and files Organize and manage the Maintenance Crib and Office, ensuring tools and equipment are operable, and consumables are inventoried and readily available Maintain calibration of process control instruments Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, EPA, NFPA, OCWD, and TS16949:2002 standards Uphold 6S, housekeeping, and health and safety standards Act in alignment with Cooper Standard Leadership Model Perform additional duties as needed Willingness to work overtime as directed by the manager
