**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance. You will troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, and other equipment. Your role will include both mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as facilities repairs when needed. You will utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs and will be responsible for setting up and changing over machinery. Additionally, you will be involved in writing PLCs and working with AutoCAD, thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing. **Responsibilities** + Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance + Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc. + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs + Handle facilities repairs as needed + Utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs + Set up and change over machinery when necessary + Write PLCs and work with AutoCAD + Work with thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (PLCs) + Experience working with up to 480V's + Competence in mathematics (fractions, adding/subtracting, measuring, etc.) + Ability to read and use blueprints and schematics + Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting + Own tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in hydraulics, welding, stick welding, and fabrication + Ability to perform 70/30 mechanical to electrical maintenance **Work Environment** Shift: Training on 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm. Will move to overnight shift (12hrs) rotating (2,2,3 schedule): 6pm-6am. The candidate will be working on the manufacturing floor.
