Maintenance Technician
**Maintenance Technician** 3rd shift - 7p-7a (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) - must be open to working at least 2 overtime days/month Training on 1st shift 7a-3p for 60-90 days **Job Description** We are seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our union company. This position involves maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including printing presses, folding machines, gluing machines, and cutting machines. The role is equally divided between mechanical and electrical tasks and includes following a preventative maintenance schedule, working with an SAP system, and adhering to safety protocols. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair industrial equipment such as printing presses, folding machines, gluing machines, and cutting machines. + Assist with installations of new machinery. + Follow a preventative maintenance schedule. + Work with an SAP system to follow maintenance work orders and documentations. + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. + Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of equipment including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, circuits, sensors, VFDs, and conveyor systems. + Read blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals/manufacturer instructions. + Use precision measuring instruments. + Weld, fabricate, and repair parts. + Test performance of electrical assemblies using test instruments such as oscilloscopes and electronic multi-meters. + Perform basic facilities maintenance as needed, excluding HVAC/plumbing work which is outsourced. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + PLC troubleshooting skills (Siemens and others). + Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints. + Knowledge of AC/DC systems, automation, and electrical maintenance. + Experience with welding (preferred) and preventive maintenance. + Familiarity with reading ladder logic and 3-phase systems. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
