**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking to add a 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance technician to our team. The maintenance technician is responsible for the setup and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. In this role, technicians will monitor equipment that produces various shapes and sizes of plastic components, operate, calibrate, and inspect the finished product. Quality control is critical in this role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
+ Monitor equipment producing various shapes and sizes of plastic components.
+ Operate, calibrate, and inspect finished products to ensure quality control.
+ Work with hydraulic systems, including prints, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
+ Interpret and work with electrical schematics, DC voltage, and 430v 3-phase motors.
+ Handle mechanical tasks including conveyors, hot drop controllers, and thermometers.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
+ Engage in PLC troubleshooting, industrial maintenance, and welding tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Troubleshooting skills in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
+ Experience in repair and preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.
+ Experience with plastic injection molding and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ 1+ year experience in an industrial maintenance role within a plastic injection molding facility.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ RJG training is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 15-20 injection molding machines on the main floor. The other side of the plant is designated for warehouse and shipping/receiving activities. Technicians will stand on their feet for 8+ hours each shift and work 6 days a week or every other weekend. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Branch, Iowa.
