Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for technicians to provide troubleshooting support for the maintenance team. You must have a strong maintenance experience to troubleshoot and diagnose machine breakdowns and develop PM plans to prevent future issues. While the primary focus is on troubleshooting, you should also be able to assist in physical repairs. Responsibilities include: • Ensure maintenance work complies with safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Optimize maintenance plans in terms of frequency, quality, and time spent. • Monitor the effectiveness of machine interventions to prevent breakdowns, ensure availability of spare parts, and keep production online. • Improve the rate and duration of breakdowns and preventive stop times, helping to improve cycle time consistent with shop objectives and each machine. • Confirm the efficiency of machine interventions regarding resources used, spare parts consumption, and sustained energy efficiency of equipment. • Support day-to-day shop operations. • Apply Total Process Control (MTP) standards, especially concerning locks and unlocking procedures. • Become a technical expert on equipment, coaching troubleshooters and maintainers, training on technical interventions, ensuring the application of maintenance methods, promoting the use of standard problem solving, maintaining equipment conformity, and updating technical drawings and information. **Hard Skills** + Troubleshooting + Diagnosing machine breakdowns + Developing PM plans + Technical expertise on equipment **Soft Skills** + Coaching + Training + Problem-solving + Attention to detail **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Woodburn, Indiana. **Work Environment** Tire manufacturing facility Salaried Role Shift: 1st: 7am - 3pm OT: As needed, most after-hours support can be done over the phone but may require going into the plant **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
