**Maintenance Technician** Currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Pay:** $35-$40/HR. **Shift:** Training on 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm. Will move to overnight shift (12hrs) rotating (2-2-3 schedule): 6pm-6am. **Description:** + Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, and other equipment. + Role will include both mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as facilities repairs when needed. + Must utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs and will be responsible for setting up and changing over machinery. + Writing PLCs and working with AutoCAD, thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing. **Responsibilities:** + Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance + Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc. + Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs + Handle facilities repairs as needed + Utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs + Set up and change over machinery when necessary + Write PLCs and work with AutoCAD + Work with thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing **Essential Skills:** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (PLCs) + Experience working with up to 480V's + Competence in mathematics (fractions, adding/subtracting, measuring, etc.) + Ability to read and use blueprints and schematics + Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting + Own tools **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
