Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general maintenance tasks including general upkeep, cleaning, painting, and building/ equipment maintenance and repairs to keep systems operational and the community safe and clean. You will also ensure regular maintenance and upkeep of the community swimming pools, spas, water features, and related equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and remain clean.
Compensation: $23+ per hour, based on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting projects, drywall repair, pressure washing) on buildings, systems, common areas and amenities Maintain and clean recreational amenities (i.e. lounge areas, BBQs, Clubhouse, Fitness Room) Conduct routine inspections Complete preventative maintenance tasks Maintain pool and spa features, pumps, and filters Balance Ph levels in pools and water features Clean, vacuum and skim pool as needed to remove debris Complete grounds work to keep the outside of the community safe, clean and free of debris Assist in maintaining the common areas and amenities by picking up trash and debris Maintain tools and equipment Complete maintenance reports, documentation, records, and other necessary paperworkSkills and Qualifications:
Strong communications skills Proven initiative and strong work ethic Must have general knowledge of building mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, and electricalEducation and Experience:
HOA/ residential maintenance: 2 years (Preferred) Excellent handyman skills, including maintenance in electrical, plumbing and pool maintenance (2 years Preferred)Physical Requirements:
Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned Able to lift to 50+ poundsWork Location: The Allison Condominiums; 14145 N 92nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day; typical schedule is 8a – 5p or 7a – 4p.
