**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We have two current openings for Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians. You will participate in all aspects of maintenance in a CNC machining area, conducting inspections and major equipment repairs. You will be part of a team ensuring equipment meets quality and production standards at all times. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and willing to perform hands-on applications involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Survey all processes in the machine shop on a regular basis, following daily, monthly, and annual maintenance routines for major equipment.
+ Expedite work in response to equipment failures, performing inspections and determining corrective actions.
+ Repair plant equipment including all production machines, fixtures, tooling, and facility necessities.
+ Fabricate and weld components as needed.
+ Fill out work orders and assist equipment vendors on-site as needed.
+ Package parts for shipment to repair facilities.
+ Ensure all equipment is safe for employees to operate, replacing or repairing inoperative machine guards or malfunctioned equipment.
+ Perform monthly safety checks to comply with the safety program.
+ Assist in training employees in production and safety.
+ Abide by the quality policy with reference to ISO/TS work instructions.
+ Use micrometers, calipers, and other gauges required to inspect products.
+ Operate a forklift as needed to move and position components.
+ Assist in all operations of manufacturing products.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and read a meter.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems, including 24 Volt systems and working on electrical cabinets.
+ Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, micrometers, and calipers.
+ High mechanical aptitude and skills.
+ Experience in CNC machine repair.
+ Experience in robotics repair, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3+ years of experience in plant maintenance is preferred.
+ Forklift license is beneficial but not required.

**Work Environment**
The position is in a manufacturing setting with a non-climate controlled facility. The maintenance team consists of 20 employees, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years. You will work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime on weekends (Saturday). Shifts available are 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

This is a Permanent position based out of Monroe, North Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00
