Job Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and or Maintenance Manager will follow all established procedures and policies while producing a product that meets or exceeds available standards while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.
This is for a 3rd shift position, i.e. night shift. Sunday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday 10PM-6AM. Days off Wednesday and Thursday ( Days off and hours of work are subject to change according to production needs)
Job Responsibilities
Conduct general repairs & maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision Respond and perform assigned duties in a timely manner per work order program Perform assigned duties following "GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES". Attend Daily Production Meeting if required. Maintain records and logs as required. Support change over and start up of assigned area. Support SQF through the monitoring of incoming services. Maintain the Calibration Program. Support SQF by maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Program. Support SQF by completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
Job Qualifications:
GED or High School Education At least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment Basic computer skills (ie. Word, Exel, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting experience Strong Communication skills Multi-task Individual Ability to work independently or with little supervision
