Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on all production machines to ensure the production line operates smoothly and efficiently. This position offers opportunities for advancement upon gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency in the required skills. **Responsibilities** + Prioritize keeping the production line running and promptly communicate the stage of equipment operation to production supervisors, maintenance manager, and co-workers. + Perform preventive maintenance, set-up, and repair work on equipment associated with food processing and packaging. + Troubleshoot and repair Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Pumps, Gearboxes, Glycol System, Motors, and Mechanical Linkage. + Correct any abnormalities found and report potential downtime situations to the maintenance manager. + Maintain records and logs of work orders and work order requests as needed. + Comply with all departmental policies and procedures, and prepare any reports required for control, audit, or reporting purposes. **Essential Skills** + Experience with food processing and packaging equipment. + Pneumatic and Mechanical linkage repair experience. + Thorough knowledge of standard hand and power tools and equipment used in plant maintenance and repair activities. + Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Some fabrication skills, including using drill press, mill, and lathe machine. + Ability to prioritize workload for maximum plant efficiency and minimum downtime. + Helpful, 'can do' demeanor. + Safety mindset. + Ability to work well independently and with others. + Good communication skills. + Organized with attention to detail. + Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. + Basic shop math associated with maintenance activities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred or applicable training. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with ongoing training and opportunities for skillset advancement. You will be working with various equipment and machinery, ensuring they are well-maintained and operational. The work environment is fast-paced and may be stressful at times, requiring a strong focus on safety and efficiency. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
