**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain facility and equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, conveyor systems, sanitation equipment, material handling equipment, and battery replacement. The technician must accurately diagnose and repair company assets to eliminate downtime, extend assets' usable life, and diminish equipment malfunctions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all equipment is operating properly and safely.
+ Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule, including hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
+ Conduct major overhauls of equipment, fabricate parts, install and adjust air conditioning and heating systems, design system changes, and calibrate and repair electronic and pneumatic controls.
+ Perform daily inspections of doors, dock plates, banana rooms, and all other building and support areas to recognize problems and repair them before breakdown occurs.
+ Independently troubleshoot and repair problems using advanced skills, including electronic repair (programmable control and relay logic repair, programming, and design).
+ Repair racks as required and replace batteries and chargers as needed.
+ Replace damaged or burned-out lighting fixtures and repair ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
+ Maintain complete repair order records.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possess at least four years’ experience or training in the maintenance field with current state and local licenses.
+ Experience in electronics, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
+ Must provide own tools.
+ Ability to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under equipment.
+ Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places.
+ Ability to operate pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.
+ Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
+ Ability to learn and follow company and distribution center policies regarding safe operations of forklifts and pallet jacks, maintenance-related power equipment, and hand tools.
+ Ability to learn and follow distribution center paperwork policies and procedures.
+ Ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility.

**Work Environment**
Most work is performed under typical warehouse conditions where hazards exist regarding machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc. The schedule for this position includes 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday - Saturday, with overtime as needed. Candidates must be available to work weekends, holidays, and up to 6-7 days a week due to product demand and staffing shortages.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.10 - $30.70
