**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for supporting production on the 2nd shift. You will be maintaining all machinery, equipment, building, and grounds, ensuring that all equipment meets OSHA standards. The role includes installation and maintenance of various equipment including presses, CNCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, air compressors, welders, induction heat systems, ABB robotic systems, water treatment equipment, and plumbing and piping. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and parts, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical components and control circuits. PLC experience (Allen-Bradley) is a plus. This position requires basic reading, writing, and math skills similar to those learned in high school. Knowledge and experience in rigging heavy equipment are beneficial.
**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain inventory and parts.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot electrical components and control circuits.
+ Ensure all equipment is kept to OSHA standards.
+ Work independently and autonomously in maintaining the facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic understanding of electrical components.
+ Ability to work independently and autonomously.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
+ Knowledge and experience in rigging heavy equipment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is hot and humid, as the company is a main producer of steel horseshoes for the North American market. The facility has been around for almost 200 years and runs 5 production lines. The maintenance department consists of a supervisor, a lead, and 7 team members. The production area sees 90% of the work, with 50% being preventative and 50% reactive. **Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00
provides top pay and benefits for production in the Forest Lake area. They are constantly changing and evolving to help their internal employees as well as their customers. They provide medical, dental, and 401k as well.
Matching 401K up to 5%
50-75% paid medical benefits depending on the option chosen by the employee.
