All qualified candidates will be contacted** **Job Description** This individual will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position organizes and facilitates maintenance on all production and facility equipment with an emphasis on equipment uptime to resolve quality and production issues. The individual will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems, mainly conveyors and ovens, throughout a food manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as bending conduit, working with start/stop circuits, photo eyes, current draw, and metal fabrication. **Responsibilities** + Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical systems including conveyors and ovens. + Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. + Bend conduit and work with start/stop circuits, photo eyes, current draw, and metal fabrication. + Respond to calls from Machine Operators to assist in proper and safe machine operation. + Support new Machine Operators by reaffirming training on machine operations. **Skills** + Experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair 3 Phase motors (480V) and PID loops. + Experience with VFDs, photo eyes, metal fabrication, and bending conduit. + Ability to work with start/stop circuits, current draw, and electronics. + Welding, refrigeration, boiler, compressed air systems, and building maintenance skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience. + Knowledge of PLCs and GMP standards. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy opportunities for overtime, growth, development, and cross-training. The environment includes union representation and offers three different shifts: The work environment can be noisy, indoors and outdoors, with wet and/or humid conditions, and varying cold or hot temperatures. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
