**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. The role involves working with a variety of high-speed unit sorters, case sorters, PLC controllers, conveyor controls, and various other industrial systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and operate industrial equipment within the Distribution Center.
+ Work with high-speed unit sorters such as Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, and Sliding shoe.
+ Handle case sorters including Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, and Swivel wheel.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain PLC controllers and understand processes and I/O (inputs & outputs).
+ Utilize conveyor controls such as Pyramid and Print & Apply systems.
+ Troubleshoot photo eyes, encoders, scanners, and dimensioners.
+ Maintain VFD controls and ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System).
+ Operate and maintain MDR conveyors (Motorized Drive Roller) and powered curve conveyors.
+ Possess electrical knowledge of 600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, and 12v systems.
+ Understand and maintain transformers and motor control panels.
+ Replace and wire up 3 phase 480v motors with brakes.
+ Replace gear box speed reducers and conveyor belts of multiple sizes and lengths.
+ Maintain air control systems including air compressors, valves, actuators, and cylinders.
+ Understand and work with hydraulics including pumps, hoses, and fittings.
+ Maintain trash compactors and corrugated balers.
+ Perform maintenance services and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
+ Read schematics and blueprints accurately.
+ Utilize all shop tools proficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Preventive maintenance experience.
+ Mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of various electrical systems and components.
+ Experience with high-speed unit sorters and case sorters.
+ Experience with PLC controllers and conveyor systems.
+ Familiarity with VFD controls and ASRS systems.
+ Understanding of air control systems and hydraulics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum 1 year of preventative maintenance experience, with a preference for 2 years.
+ Mechanical experience.
+ Completion of a course through Trade Schools related to automation, industrial technology, or similar fields.
+ Must have own tools.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a Distribution Center over 3 million square feet. Shifts are available from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, with hours from 6am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, and 10:00pm-6:30am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
