Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production equipment to function properly through troubleshooting and repair, preventative maintenance, and any new installations. The position will be assigned to one area but eventually could work in all areas which include plastic CNC Drilling/Cutting Machines, robotic assembly equipment, sheet production, extrusion machines, and plastic recycling machines.

ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting, preventive, and demand maintenance for production lines including electrical and mechanical repairs.Replace components such as motors and motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and transmissions.Make adjustments keeping in mind quality, tolerances, and order of operations.Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts, and instructions.Use precision measuring devices (multimeters, calipers, etc.).Maintain, repair, and install a wide variety of machine parts, components, and equipment.Effectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision.Essential Skills3 to 5 or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.Ability to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and provide professional corrections.Ability to work independently as well as communicate with other team members.Own set of standard tools.

Work Environment

The company has multiple locations that are large and updated with automated equipment. The environment can be hot in some areas and noisy due to the equipment. The company employs over 400 employees across various locations.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
