SHIFTS AND HOURS
Day shift working 5 Days a week, approximately 36 hours per week Must be available for an occasional but rare call-in
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested. Maintain, inspect and repair facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar. Maintain and inspect Power equipment, Emergency generators and maintain power level of battery. Maintain and inspect Fire Alarm system to include testing the system. Check condition and readiness of extinguishers on a regular schedule. Maintain and inspect and lighting system throughout facility.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or GED Equivalent. Experience in maintenance or facility operations. Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools required in the general building/maintenance trades. Knowledge of maintenance equipment operation and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
