Maintenance Technician
**Title:** Industrial Maintenance Technician - Ravenna, Ohio **Shift:** 2 nd or 3 rd shift **The Opportunity:** Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs. **Responsibilities include:** + Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems + Work on motors, and conveyors, AC/DC, PLC troubleshooting + Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives + Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities + Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures + Complete Timely and accurate paperwork **What you need to succeed:** + Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience + Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment + An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems + Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives + Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits + Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches + A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems + PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred + Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings + Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner + Ability to work weekends & overtime + Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills + Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred + Corrugated background is a plus, but not required ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
