Maintenance Technician

Pay: $38.56+ /HR (based on experience) & $1.50/HR shift differential

Required Shift:

12 Hour Rotating Shift

Included days, nights and weekends

4 days off in a row & every other weekend off

Job Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and properly maintaining and repairing equipment in a fast paced, high production work environment, while prioritizing multiple mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED2+ years’ of work experience related to industrial maintenanceUnderstanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics AND/OR Mechanical DrawingsAbility to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.)Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/TechnologyTechnical/Trade Certification in: Advanced Machinist Skills, fabrication and/or blueprint interpretationUnderstanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics, Mechanical Drawings, and PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.Troubleshooting competencies including Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Automation, Machining, and Mechanical Systems on all Process and Packaging Equipment Perform Preventative and predictive Maintenance on Process & Packaging EquipmentSupport Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activitiesDocument Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance)Demonstrate Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams, training fellow Technicians/Operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities to include conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA’s).Understand and adhere to all safety procedures and policysAny ad hoc requests
