More about your role

Within this work role, you will carry out all general day to day maintenance within the leisure centre, which can result in a varied and exciting work programme. You will plan and implement work schedules, carrying out work yourself where you can or contacting contractors for any unexpected issues. You will help monitor current contractors, ensuring that they are completing test and inspections in a timely manner i.e. periodic testing to comply with regulations.

You will deliver a high level of service, comfort and safety for users of the centres. Along with the Technical team it will be your joint responsibility to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, and you will supply maintenance reports and updates to the Contract Technical Manager on a regular basis.

More about you

The successful applicant will have experience of working within a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification. You must have an awareness of health and safety, especially within public spaces and ideally a hold a Pool Plant Operator's Certificate. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with external contractors. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate at interview your excellent customer service skills and experience.
