Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLCs, robotics, and automated equipment. This role involves interfacing with production and engineering personnel to complete maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

ResponsibilitiesAdjust programs on robotsTroubleshoot and repair PLCsRead electrical and hydraulic schematicsPerform machine repair and troubleshooting for complex electrical and electronic systemsInterface with production and engineering personnel to complete maintenance activitiesConduct daily and weekly preventive maintenanceTroubleshoot and debug PLCs (5, 500, 5000 Control Logix)Maintain and repair automated equipment, including conveyors, robots, and pressesWork with Fanuc, Lincoln, and Motoman robotic weldersEssential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED1-5 years of maintenance experience, specifically in hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and robotic systemsExperience with mechanical and electrical maintenanceProficiency in PLC troubleshootingAbility to read electrical and hydraulic schematicsExperience with Fanuc roboticsMust provide own toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsIdeally 3-5 years of experience, but candidates with 1-2 years of experience who are eager to learn and have a great attitude will be consideredTo reach Tech 3 level pay, candidates must be able to adjust programs on Fanuc robotics, troubleshoot PLCs, and read electrical and hydraulic schematicsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a hot, fast-paced environment with additional air conditioning units, but it remains warm during summer months. Current openings are on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Hours for the 2nd shift are 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and hours for the 3rd shift are 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00
