Maintenance Technician 3rd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team at an extrusion company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on various machinery in a fast-paced production facility. This role requires working a 12-hour shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a rotating schedule.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and reactive maintenance on various machinery.Oversee 10 different production lines and perform maintenance at another facility as needed.Troubleshoot and rewire 480 three-phase motors, including changing motor rotation.Conduct mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting.Read and interpret inputs/outputs.Perform PLC troubleshooting.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting three-phase motors.Maintenance electrical and mechanical skills.Experience with industrial electrical troubleshooting.Ability to perform reactive and preventative maintenance.Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a plastics/extrusion environment.Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position requires working a 12-hour shift from 7 PM to 7 AM on a rotating schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday; Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday). Candidates will initially train on a first shift on a 2-2-3 schedule until training is completed. The work environment is a fast-paced production facility where candidates may need to walk over to another facility to perform maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $74880.00
