Pay range $26.39/hr-$33.61/hr

Electrician $37/hr

 

5a-5p or 5p-5a this is a 24/6 facility will average 48 hrs per week. Bonus 4 days off in a row!

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is part of the team that maintains and optimizes our equipment reliability to ensure production and quality goals are met.  Applicants need to possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be considered:

Must maintain excellent attendance reliabilityFamiliarity and experience with motors, drives, contacts, relays, timers, PLC's, PC's.Corrugated equipment maintenance experience or related heavy industrial maintenance experienceAbility to perform electrical and mechanical work as necessaryTechnical understanding and skills with a focus on safetyAbility to read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blue printsKnowledge of preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinesUnderstanding of control circuits, hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of partsMust be able to work in a 24/6 environment, 12hr shiftsWilling to work mandatory overtime and weekends, as neededAbility to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of partsEnsure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, proceduresWillingness to take initiative, learn new skills and help team membersGeneral computer skills such as the ability to navigate through program screensStrong reasoning and problem solving skillsAbility to read and understand production specificationsAwareness of OSHA standards for electrical safety

 

EDUCATION

Corrugating and manufacturing experience, a plusAssociate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferredDemonstrated advanced training or certification in the maintenance mechanical/electrical industryLean manufacturing knowledge, especially 5S
