Job Description
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for a well-established baking company. The role involves performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks on ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment, and icing machines. We are looking to fill 6 positions across three shifts: 1st (7 AM - 3:30 PM), 2nd (3 PM - 11:30 PM), and 3rd (11 PM - 7:30 AM).
ResponsibilitiesPerform reactive and preventative maintenance troubleshooting on ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment, and icing machines.Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 25 technicians.Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma/GED1+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanicExperience with 480v electrical systemsProficiency in conveyor maintenanceMechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsPLC troubleshooting experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing and working in hot temperatures is a plus.Ammonia and steam boiler experience is highly desirable.Mechanically inclined, including farm or aircraft maintenance experience, is welcomed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes a large baking facility with ovens, making it approximately 15 degrees hotter in the summer. The plant is filled with flour and sugar, and employees will work 6 days a week with rotating off days. Shifts include weekends, and the facility operates under strict safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00
