Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $32.03 - $33.54 and involves working a 12-hour night shift (7 PM - 7 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotation. Training will commence on the night shift. The role requires responding rapidly to production breakdowns and performing tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various machinery.
ResponsibilitiesRespond rapidly to all production breakdowns with a strong sense of urgency.Install, maintain, and repair machinery such as candy forming machines, high-speed twist, pillow and roll wrapping machines, vertical and horizontal bagging machines, overwrap packaging machines, confectionary cooking and tempering machines, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pick & place packaging equipment.Interpret blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.Work with Ladder Logic using a laptop at the PLC.Wire machinery up to 480 volts.Supply a quality set of standard and metric size mechanic's tools.Essential SkillsExperience working with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics.Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and working with Ladder Logic.Electrical wiring up to 480 volts.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Ability to interpret blueprints and technical sketches.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Certificates in electrical and mechanical fields are a plus.Associates Degree in a related field is a plus.Must be a team player and able to handle multiple tasks.Why Work Here?
