**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
A manufacturer of composite pipe is seeking a multicraft maintenance technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs on their equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, drives, limit switches, 3-phase electrical motors, E-stop switches, motor starter circuits up to 480V, and 24V DC circuits. Additionally, the technician will build control panel boxes and pull wire to equipment. Mechanical repairs include working on hydraulics, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and bearings. Light welding and fabrication may be required for facility or equipment repairs. The equipment includes helical winder machines, conveyors, material handling equipment, and saws. The technician will also assist with the installation of new equipment as the company moves into a new facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, drives, limit switches, and electrical motors
+ Repair and maintain motor starter circuits up to 480V and 24V DC circuits
+ Build and wire control panel boxes
+ Repair hydraulics, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and bearings
+ Perform light welding and fabrication as needed
+ Maintain and repair helical winder machines, conveyors, material handling equipment, and saws
+ Assist with the installation of new equipment during facility relocation
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of maintenance experience
+ Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, drives, and electrical motors
+ Experience with mechanical repairs including hydraulics and pneumatics
+ Knowledge of 480V electrical systems
+ Ability to build control panels
+ Understanding of electrical schematics
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Welding and fabrication experience

**Work Environment**
The work is conducted in a non-A/C open-aired shop. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00
