**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of hydraulic systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and other ancillary equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks including electrical, plumbing, and painting work, as well as collaborating with other maintenance and production employees to solve problems. The candidate should be able to research, select, and order parts and supplies as necessary and be prepared to work varying shifts, weekends, and possible emergency situations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
+ Carry out electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
+ Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and other ancillary equipment.
+ Work with other maintenance and production employees to troubleshoot problems.
+ Research, select, and order parts and supplies as necessary.
+ Work varying shifts, times, weekends, and possible emergency situations.
+ Perform other work as deemed appropriate by managers or lead employees.
+ Demonstrate general knowledge and troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems such as belts, drives, sheaves, chains, and other power transmission systems.
+ Apply knowledge of safety practices within the maintenance field.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience in machine operating, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
+ Mechanical repair skills.
+ Preventive maintenance experience.
+ Knowledge of industrial, production, and packaging processes.
+ Electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
+ PLC troubleshooting skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6+ years of maintenance experience including facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulics.
+ Ability to work independently, train, and direct others as needed.
+ Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
+ Forklift operation skills.
+ Strong communication skills in both oral and written form.
+ Ability to maintain work logs.
+ Strong team player.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is not climate-controlled, but it is heated in the winter. Employees should be prepared to stand on their feet all day and are required to wear steel toe shoes or boots. The position is for the 2nd shift, with training on the 1st shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00
