Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position is responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-paced Tampa, FL Container plant that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state-of-the-art for the corrugated industry. The role requires utilizing both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatic, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in a continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and production machinery.Performing emergency/unscheduled repairs.Setting up machines for production runs.Installing new equipment.Performing preventative maintenance.Maintaining motors, conveyors, electrical/hydraulic/automated systems.Essential Skills5+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.Experience working with PLCs, electronics, hydraulics, robotics, pneumatic systems.Ability to weld.Strong electrical knowledgeAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with 480V electrical systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.Knowledge of pneumatic systems.Familiarity with conveyors and automated systems.Why Work Here?

Employees are rewarded with a one-time bonus of $2,000 after one year, broken down as follows: $1,000 after 30 days of permanent employment, $500 after 6 months, and $500 after 1 year. Additionally, employees who remain employed through the second year receive a lump sum of $0.20 for each hour worked in the prior 12 months. This role offers a stable work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing setting that is partially climate-controlled with fans in the facility. The role follows a 3-2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts. Training will take place on the first shift for up to a year, after which employees may move to either the first or third shift based on business needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.05 - $27.05
