Job Description
Repair, install, adjust, align, and test industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools and various test equipment. This role operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 6 PM to 6 AM with a 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule.
ResponsibilitiesPerform periodic maintenance routines including lubricating machines and equipment for improved reliability and uptime.Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures.Work with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment.Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and PLC systems.Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications for installations.Use hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring devices, and testing instruments.Collaborate with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.Maintain accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventative maintenance findings.Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in the safety program.Assist in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies.Apply simple problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys to reduce and eliminate failures.Work in a hot, humid, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment.Be willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMechanical troubleshootingPneumaticsHydraulicsPLC troubleshootingReading blueprintsReading mechanical drawings and P&IDsPrecision measurementsExperience with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shaftsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, etc.), HMIs, A/C & D/C motors.Experience working with drives, encoders, resolvers, control systems.Experience working up to 480 Volts.Experience with drive systems, bearings, gearboxes.2 or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, or a two (2) year mechanical maintenance degree.Computer skills for record-keeping and documentation functions.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63960.00 - $69160.00
