Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. This includes electrical troubleshooting and repairs, as well as mechanical troubleshooting on all production equipment. You will work with low and medium AC and DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear boxes. This role involves a balance of mechanical and electrical work, with a significant portion of your time dedicated to mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment up to 480 voltsInstall, troubleshoot, modify, calibrate, and adjust electrical/electronic system componentsMaintain and repair low/medium AC & DC motorsPerform mechanical troubleshooting on all production equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gear boxes70% of the position involves mechanical troubleshooting and repairs30% of the position involves electrical/PLC troubleshooting and repairWork with high-speed packaging equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High-speed packaging experienceStrong electrical experience is considered

Work Environment

The facility is climate-controlled, maintaining a temperature of 60-65 degrees F. The packaging lines are fast-paced, with product constantly moving down the lines. Tools are provided for your work.
