Job Description
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for our production facility in Fort Wayne. The facility produces milk, cottage cheese, and sour cream. The Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for performing preventive and reactive maintenance on various equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on conveyors, palletizing/wrapping machines, bag sealers, filler machines, blow molds, and mixing machines.Work on label printers, fixing/changing pipes, valves, forklifts, and facilities maintenance.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Read and interpret blueprints for equipment maintenance and repair.Ensure the proper functioning of all machinery to support continuous production.Be on call for maintenance emergencies on Sundays, with rotational shifts.Essential Skills5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.Experience with conveyor (VFD) systems.Ability to use own tooling (hand/power tools).Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the food and beverage industry.Knowledge of control systems.Experience with servo systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position offers both 2nd and 3rd shift openings. The 2nd shift runs from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, and the 3rd shift runs from Monday night to Friday night, 9pm to 5:30am. The role requires being on call for emergencies on Sundays, with rotational shifts. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery and tools to support maintenance activities.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $60320.00
