Job Description
This is a 2nd shift maintenance technician role (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM). This individual will perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on plastic injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. You will also perform routine fixture repair and facilities maintenance, working on grinders, presses, heaters, dryers, cranes, motors, and hydraulics/pneumatics. Additionally, you will handle some 3-phase motors and 480v electrical tasks.

Work Environment
This role is based in a typical injection molding/automotive manufacturing environment, which can get warm in the summer. This is one of the largest plants in Southwest Michigan and is known for its high usage of the injection mold area. Despite the dirtier conditions due to high usage, the plant is highly organized due to continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives. The shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with an additional 5-10+ hours of overtime typical for the automotive industry.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
