\n\t\t\t\t\tMaintenance technicians will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will perform start-up and shut-down procedures, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of Virginia Hospital Laundry, Inc.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nRepair and maintain production equipment such as large industrial washers, dryers, feeders and folders.\nRepair and maintain facility equipment such as boilers, compressors, heat exchanger and lighting.\nRepair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed.\nAnswer and resolve daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion, so that minimal down-time is experienced.\nWork with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manner.\nStrictly adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures required by VHL, law, and also recognized as common practice in the industry.\nRemain current on equipment and repair procedures.\nKeep accurate and timely records of maintenance performed.\nFollow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.

\n\t\t\t\t\tAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
\n\t\t\t\t\tMinimum of three years industrial maintenance experience with specific knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder and/or boiler applications.\nProficiency in the proper use of power and hand tools.\nStrong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phases 240/480 volt systems preferred\nPLC troubleshooting and programming experience preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction performs, basic math, good time management skills and be a team player.\n\nIf candidate wants the higher pay range for Tech II $33.57 -- they must have a certification in something (HVAC, Welding, Electrical, Plumbing etc.)\n\nMaintenance mechanic 1 starting at 29.16 and Maintenance mechanic 2 starting at 33.57.
