**Aerotek is hiring for a** **Maintenance Technician!** **Job Description:** - Previous PLC experience. -Troubleshoot & repair power drives and pneumatics. -Perform daily preventative maintenance and tear downs. -Execute daily maintenance tasks. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -Supports the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety. -Ability to pass a HAZMAT physical. -Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders. -Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our computerized Maint. Management System. -Complies with all safety & GMP regulations. -Follows all company rules, policies and procedures. -Maintains membership and training in the company emergency response team as outlined by OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZMAT) -Must be forklift certified or obtain the qualification within the probationary period. -Valid New York State Driver’s License. -Availability to work a variable schedule on occasion to cover other team member time off. **Skills:** + Electrical + Troubleshooting + Maintenance technician + Mechanical + Hydraulics + Blueprint + Maintenance repair + Refrigeration + Pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + PLC Troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** -Basic math skills -Basic computer skills -Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools **-Minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial mechanic position** -Efficient in blueprint reading and interpretation -Electrical meters/multi meters -Mechanical equipment (saws, lathes, presses, grinders) -Familiar with basics of fluid control, pumps -Metal fabrication -Pipefitting -Able to handle chemicals, paints, solvents, and exposure to environmental allergens. Companies with correlating experience: HP Hood, Steuben, General Mills, Tesla, Costanzo's, Lactalis/Sorrento Cheese, Upstate Milk. **Experience Level** Entry Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.51 - $32.51 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
