**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician on 2nd and 3rd shifts is responsible for maintaining production and plant equipment. This includes timely responses to equipment issues and managing programs for the shift, as well as recording scheduled PMs. The role also involves ensuring 5S is completed in areas of operation, supporting facility upgrades and repairs, and working collaboratively with Mold Setters and other Operations departments. **Responsibilities** + Maintain production and plant equipment. + Respond promptly to equipment issues. + Manage and record scheduled PMs for the shift. + Ensure 5S is completed in areas of operation. + Support facility upgrades and repairs. + Collaborate with Mold Setters and other Operations departments. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance technician experience. + PLC troubleshooting. + Injection mold experience. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Experience maintaining and repairing injection molding equipment in an automotive industrial setting. + Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs. + Installation skills. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic prints. + Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues (24v dc, 120v, 240v, and 3 phase electronic circuits). + Experience operating basic shop tools. + High level of mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety and complexity. + Knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment. + Ability to work in a matrix organization. + Preferred: Journeyman Electrical License. + Experience troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of equipment including light assembly, plastic welding technology, injection molding machines, slush machines, foam in place equipment, robots. + Welding experience. + PLC troubleshooting and programming skills. + Excellent electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuit troubleshooting skills. + Quick response rate to equipment issues. + Engagement with operations and mold setting teams. + Root cause analysis skills. + Must be able to pass a color acuity exam. **Why Work Here?** Join a large Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer with a unionized work environment.
