Job Description
The Maintenance Lead on the 2nd shift (10-hour shifts) is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient production of products by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures. This role involves performing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and training team members on technical processes.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the production team as the mechanical expert.Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly.Perform preventative maintenance procedures.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.Make repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.Perform basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc.).Perform package change over on lines as required.Support the team on all aspects of the operation.Train team members on mechanical processes.Focus on continuous improvement.Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards.Essential SkillsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors.Leadership experience.Knowledge of blueprints and machining.Familiarity with gearboxes, high-speed machinery, pumps, and pneumatic systems.Understanding of robotics, schematics, sensors, wiring, 480 volt, drives, and variable frequency drives.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a leadership role, even if just as a lead.Why Work Here?
